Connemara Tour Highlights

Experience the majestic landscapes of Connemara. From the rugged Twelve Pins Mountains to the glassy lakes and bogland, this region is absolutely breathtaking! Spend 2 hours exploring the enchanting Kylemore Abbey and Victorian Walled Gardens before heading back to Galway for the evening.

Along the route, you’ll see Oughterard, Lough Corrib, Maam Cross, Maam Valley, Twelve Pins Mountain Range, Leenane, Killary Fjord, Kylemore Abbey & Walled Gardens, Inagh Valley, Scroib Waterfall, Rossaveal and Spiddal.

Cliffs of Moher Tour Highlights

Head south through the windswept, limestone region known as the Burren. Explore the dramatic underworld of the Burren at the Aillwee Cave. You’ll spend 1.5 hours at the awe-inspiring Cliffs of Moher before heading back to Galway along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Along the route, you’ll see Kinvara, Dunguaire Castle, Aillwee Cave, Lisdoonvarna, Corkscrew Hill, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, Wild Atlantic Way, Coastal Road and Blackhead Lighthouse.

Connemara Tour Stops

Leenane Village

A small mountain-side town bursting with Irish charm (also the setting for the 1990 film ‘The Field’ starring Richard Harris and John Hurt).

Length: 30 minutes

Killary Fjord

Ireland’s only fjord serves the natural border between counties Galway and Mayo.

Length: 10 minutes

Kylemore Abbey

Extravagantly placed on a lake in the midst of the mountains, this 19th century abbey has was originally built by Mitchell Henry as a gift to his wife, Margaret. The Kylemore Abbey provided many improvements to the land after the Great Famine: reclaiming bogland, providing locals with work, shelter and even education. Today, visitors can explore the Abbey (now owned and run by Benedictine nuns), miniature Gothic Church and award winning-walled Victorian walled gardens. Admission to the abbey and gardens is not included in Lally’s ticket price.

An Spidéal

A picturesque Gaeltacht (Irish Speaking) village. It is home to many traditional thatched roof homes, scenic coastlines and beautiful beaches.

Cliffs of Moher Tour Stops

Dunguaire Castle (Kinvara)

Standing tall watching over Galway Bay, this iconic 1520’s castle was the Royal Palace of Guaire Aidhne, King of Connacht.

Length: 15 minutes

Aillwee Cave and Birds of Prey Exhibition

Trek through Ireland’s natural, showcase cave or interact with birds in flight. Not feeling adventurous? A cafe is located on the grounds showcasing a menu of local food and coffee options.

Cliffs of Moher & Visitor Centre

FREE ADMISSION! Encounter a moment of magic as you stand atop these awe-inspiring, rigid cliffs with edges dropping into the untamed Atlantic Ocean. Stretching 8km (5 miles) along the Atlantic coast of County Clare, The Cliffs of Moher  stand 700 feet tall.

Length: 1 hour 30 minutes

Doolin

Have lunch at the famous Fitzpatrick’s Pub.

Length: 45 minutes

Returns to Galway approximately 5:30pm
